This Unit is about how the Middle Ages of Europe comes to existence after the Fall of Rome. The Middle Ages in Europe had this system called Feudalism, where people were given protection. Yet, the church were given all the power. A group known as the Crusades, were a military type that restored multiple holy places from Muslim; for example, Jerusalem. Europe also had philosophies and proceed in science which made people believed in new things. The Roman church and the Eastern Orthodoxy were split into to groups because they had disagreements about who should have the power. The split was called the Great Schism.
